Galapagos Cruise + Stay in Guayaquil City

For those of you who have air tickets through the city of Guayquil or if you want to avoid the higher elevations of Quito and the Andes region, we offer the package below. This package is designed to give you some time before the cruise so as to make sure you do not miss your Galapagos flight (in case your international flight is delayed or if you have baggage problems). At the same time it insures you are taken care of from the moment you arrive to Ecuador until you depart for home, while providing the opportunity to enjoy the Port City of Guayaquil and its wonderful history..

Itinerary in Brief

DAY 1: Arrive in Guayaquil / Meet & Greet Hotel Transfer / Overnight at the Hotel of your choice.

DAY 2: A full day tour of the City with a morning tour of Las Peñas & Historic Park and a tour of Malecon 2000 in the afternoon / Overnight at Hotel of choice. (B)

DAY 3: Transfer back to airport for Galapagos Flights. (B, L, D)

DAYS 3 - 10: 7 nights / 8 days Galapagos Cruise aboard M/V Evolution or M/Y Grace. (B, L, D)

DAY 11: Transfer from your Galapagos Flight back to Hotel in Guayaquil / Overnight at Hotel of your choice (B, L)

DAY 12: Transfer from your hotel back to airport for your flight home. (B)

NOTES:

• If you can arrange a late night flight home on Day 10 there is no need to spend the night at a hotel. Please let us know if you want to make this arrangement so we can send you an adjusted price qupte.

Transfer To Your Hotel in Guayaquil

DAY 1
Flight to Guayaquil / Hotel

You will be met at the airport by an English speaking guide and driver who will transfer you to the hotel of your choice in Guayaquil. Dinner on your own (it is likely you will be on a plane during dinner, arriving late at night).

DAY 2
Full Day City Tour of Guayaquil - "The Pearl of the Pacific
"
Early in the morning we set out north with our guide along the famed ‘Avenue of Volcanoes’ to the village of Otavalo. The Otavalo Indian market is famous throughout the Andes for its handicrafts, textiles and tapestries. Then it is on to the village of Peguche for a weaving demonstration, followed by Cotacachi, home to Ecuador's finest leather craftsmen. We return to Quito late in the afternoon. (B, L)


Flight to Galapagos Islands

DAY 3
Transfer to Airport for Galapagos Flight

After an early breakfast and pickup you be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your flight to the Galapagos. (B, L, D)

DAY 10
End of Cruise - Return Flight to Guayaquil / Hotel

Upon arrival in Guayaquil you will be transferred from the airport to you hotel. This evening is free to relax. You can enjoy your hotel or go back to visit the the colonial section of Guayaquil or "El Malecon" river walk. Enjoy your last night in Ecuador!


Farewell to Ecuador & Galapagos

DAY 11
Transfer to Airport for Return Flight Home

Today we say farewell to Ecuador and transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight home.
