Galapagos Islands Scubadiving is an optional activity on our expeditions and involves an additional cost. For 8 day full liveaboard diving trips, please visit Galapagos Diving.

This activity is reserved only for certified divers who want to get a glimpse of the magnificent underwater world of the Galapagos. To be able to dive in Galapagos, you have 3 choices:

1. Arrive to the Islands a couple of days before the start of your cruise and book daily dive trips from one of the dive centers
2. Stay a couple of days after the end of your cruise to book daily dive trips from one of the dive centers
3. Replace the activities scheduled for your day in Puerto Ayora (during your cruise) to take a daily dive trip to nearby dive sites.

Diving in Galapagos is very rewarding. The abundance of fish life is spectacular and great schools of inshore grunts and snappers are encountered on nearly every dive, while immense schools of open water jacks, barracuda, bonito, eagle ray and Scalloped Hammerheads are regularly sighted. Adding to the excitement is the regular expectation of sighting Manta Ray, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and even Whale Sharks. Drop-offs and the boulder strewn sea floor are home to many strange and exotic species such as the Rainbow Basslet, Red-lipped Batfish, Bloody Frogfish, Pacific Seahorse, Rockmover Wrasse and Galapagos Clingsish.

Please let us know in advance if you would like to take a diving trip before, after or during your Galapagos cruise.
