The Best & Most Remote Islands in Galapagos

The Best Visitor Sites in Galapagos

We are aware that, for most travelers, Galapagos is a once-in-a-lifetime trip and we want to give them the very best in the time that they will be with us on the Islands. Through our complete 7 night / 8 day itineraries, guests are able to see all of the Galapagos wildlife that made the Islands famous and inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. Aboard one of our Galapagos cruises, you will be able to see the full spectrum of the Galapagos. See M/Y Grace's Cruise Itinerary. See M/V Evolution's Cruise Itinerary.

Since Quasar Expeditions began offering cruises in the Galapagos Islands a quarter century ago, we realized that – in order to understand the importance of the Islands in the natural world – we simply had to cruise the archipelago for al least eight days and, when possible, even longer. We believe that our guests should see all of the species native to Galapagos, so that they can be witnesses of evolution at work, and we can only accomplish this by following a complete itinerary.

We have put a lot of effort into obtaining permits from the Galapagos National Park that allow our yachts to visit all of the most important sites on the Islands. Many cruise operators on the islands avoid the long navigations to save costs, but we are firm believers that a true Galapagos experience involves visiting the most remote islands as well. Amongst these is Genovesa or Tower Island, found far north on the archipelago. We visit this “Island of Birds” and our guests are amazed at the variety of bird life that inhabits this partially submerged volcano.
